Mall Announces New Expansion Stores

The Mall at Green Hills has announced that four new retailers, Coldwater Creek, Elisabeth, Lucky Brand Dungarees, and Sigrid Olsen, will open stores in October 2005 as part of the Mall’s Grand Expansion project.

“We are pleased to add this group to our growing list of new Grand Expansion stores opening in The Mall at Green Hills,” says Hank Woerner, General Manager. “These trend-setting retailers, many new to the Nashville market, will allow us to continue offering the best mix fashion in the Middle Tennessee area,” Woerner adds.

Coldwater Creek is a multi-channel retailer of women’s apparel, gifts, jewelry, and accessories, targeting professional women, 35-60 years of age. The company currently operates 115 full-line stores in more than 40 states. This store will be the company’s second Nashville-area location.

Elisabeth, a division of Liz Claiborne, offers classic women’s apparel and accessories including tops, pants, skirts, dresses, jackets, petites, outerwear, sleepwear/loungewear, swimwear, handbags, scarves, jewelry and hosiery. There are currently 23 Elisabeth stores operating in 15 states. This store will be the company’s first Nashville-area location.

Lucky Brand Dungarees is leading retailer of denim products featuring innovative washes and finishes. In addition to cutting-edge jeans, Lucky Brand produces a full collection of sportswear, active wear, underwear, accessories and fragrance for men, women and children. The company currently operates 87 stores in 25 states. This store will be the company’s first Nashville-area location.

Sigrid Olsen, also a division of Liz Claiborne, is a women’s apparel retailer featuring trendy tops, bottoms, sweaters, pant, jeans, coordinating outfits, and accessories including leather purses. The company currently operates 25 stores in 15 states. This store will be the company’s first Nashville-area location.

These new stores join a growing list of diverse retailers in the Mall’s expansion wing, including The Cheesecake Factory, Davis-Kidd Booksellers, Z Gallerie, Panera Bread, Cole Haan, L’Occitane, and BCBG MaxAzria. The expansion wing will be completed and open to the public in late October.

The Mall at Green Hills is located in Nashville, Tennessee at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company. Davis Street Land Company is a privately held real estate company focused on the ownership and development of upscale centers and Main Street properties located in suburban and urban downtowns. In recent years, the principals of the company have been responsible for the development and ownership of unique retail properties such as The Falls Shopping Center in Miami, Florida, Renaissance Place in Highland Park, Illinois, The Gardens on El Paseo in Palm Desert, California and Plaza Frontenac in St. Louis, Missouri.
