Lacoste and Brooks Brothers Opening New Stores This Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. --- March 10, 2008--- Continuing its commitment to adding luxury retail tenants, The Mall at Green Hills announces that Brooks Brothers and Lacoste are opening new stores at The Mall at Green Hills this week.

Brooks Brothers will relocate to its new 9,495 square-foot location next to Rangoni Firenze Shoes on the Mall Upper Level on Tuesday, March 11. The new, larger store will have both exterior and interior entrances and will feature an expanded collection of its classic lines of men’s and women’s business and casual fashion and accessories, children’s casualwear and new shoe section.

Lacoste’s new 1,703 square-foot boutique will feature a full line of French-inspired apparel, footwear, leather goods, watches, and fragrances. The new store, the company’s first Tennessee store, is located on the Mall Lower Level near the South Entrance off Abbott Martin Road. Lacoste currently operates 54 retail boutique locations in the United States. The store is scheduled to open on Friday, March 14.

 “We’re pleased to announce the openings of the Lacoste and Brooks Brothers stores at the Mall at Green Hills,” says Hank Woerner, General Manager, The Mall at Green Hills. “These store openings show our commitment to providing the best shopping for our customers,” Woerner adds.

“Lacoste is excited to open our first boutique in Tennessee at The Mall at Green Hills, and to be surrounded by other great luxury retailers,” said Bob Ross, Vice President of Retail for Lacoste, USA.

In addition to Lacoste and Brooks Brothers, New York & Co. will be opening its new store on the Mall Upper Level between Macy’s and Kay Jewelers on Thursday, March 20. The new 4,441 square-foot New York & Co. store will feature women’s professional and casualwear, accessories, jewelry, shoes and more. 

Later this spring, Georgiou Studio will open its first Tennessee store at The Mall at Green Hills. Based in San Francisco, California, Georgiou Studio will present its contemporary lifestyle clothing line for women in 1,159 square feet of retail space located between Sephora and Teavana on the Mall Lower Level in retail space previously occupied by GNC. The new store, will offer denim lines, tops, pants, skirts, dresses, suits, outerwear and more.

Later this year, two more luxury retailers will be opening new stores at The Mall at Green Hills, Burberry and Juicy Couture.

The new 4,501 square-foot Burberry store will feature select styles from the London designer’s extensive collection of accessories, including handbags, jewelry, shoes, watches and scarves, women’s and men’s apparel, fragrances and gifts. The new store is scheduled to open in August 2008 and will join 39 current Burberry boutiques across the United States. The Burberry store will be located on the Mall Upper Level next to Brooks Brothers’ new store location.

The California-based Juicy Couture boutique store will offer the complete Juicy Couture collection of apparel for women, kids and baby, as well as fragrance and a full range of accessories including handbags, jewelry, watches, swimwear, sunglasses and shoes. With a footprint of 3,074 square feet, the new store will join the 33 currently open locations across the country. Scheduled for a September 2008 opening, the new Juicy Couture boutique will be located on the Upper Level of the Mall next to the new Burberry store.
 
During the past six months, several other retailers have opened new and remodeled stores at The Mall at Green Hills including Swarovski Crystal, Auntie Anne’s, Lenscrafters, GNC, AK Anne Klein, Victoria’s Secret, and The Gap.

The Mall at Green Hills is located in Nashville, Tennessee at 2126 Abbott Martin Road and is owned, leased and managed by Davis Street Land Company. Davis Street Land Company is a privately-held real estate company focused on the ownership and development of upscale specialty and lifestyle centers.
